“We enjoy creating bespoke projects and custom montages for families and businesses. We build the pacing, accompanied by your music, we enhance the way each image moves and settles, and the small transitions that carry one moment into the next, all of it built around your story. It’s slower to work this way, and that’s the point. We treat every film the way we’d want someone to treat ours, because that’s really why we started doing this.”

Dave and I have been friends since junior high. He’s one of the most trustworthy and hardworking people I know, and after all these years, going into business together felt less like a decision and more like something we were always going to do.
My own background runs from the personal to the broadcast. I spent five years editing weddings and photo montages for Vidicam Productions in Beverly Hills, and more than twenty years in television motion graphics and visual effects, over ten of them as Conan O’Brien’s graphic artist. I love bringing that experience to montages and concept films for families and businesses. Being a kid at heart doesn’t hurt either, especially when the idea is “my son wants to play a superhero or my daughter wants to be an astronaut on the moon.”
I’m a proud father of three boys and a very happy husband of eleven years. That’s really why we do this. We know what these films are worth, because we’d want one of our own.
David grew up mostly on the East Coast, in Pennsylvania, before heading to New York City to discover and learn his craft as an editor and cinematographer. Now based in Southern California, David brings over 20 years of experience shaping stories in the edit bay, from weddings and events to deeply personal documentaries, finding the story in the raw material, building rhythm and pace, and uncovering the emotion that lives between the frames.
His approach is built on the belief that great filmmaking is never about the gear…it’s about what happens in post. David is fluent in pacing, sound design, and structure, turning raw footage and photos into something that flows and feels alive.
David has always loved looking back through old photos and videos, the way they hold a moment you’d otherwise forget. That love is what led him to found this montage service: a belief that every family’s story deserves to be told with care. Whether it’s honoring a loved one’s memory or celebrating a family’s milestones, David brings the same craft and heart to every montage, creating something you and your family will treasure and return to for years to come.
We are happy to talk it through before you decide anything, and there is no cost to that conversation. We will show you a full film so you can see how they come together.
