Dave and I have been friends since junior high, and going into business together felt less like a decision than something we were always going to do. My background runs from the personal to the broadcast: editing weddings and photo montages for several event videography businesses in Beverly Hills, and over twenty years in television motion graphics and visual effects, more than ten as Conan O’Brien’s graphic artist. I love bringing that to montages and concept films for families and businesses, and being a kid at heart helps when the idea is my son playing a superhero or my daughter walking on the moon. I’m a proud dad of three boys and a happy husband of eleven years. That’s really why we do this. We’d want one of our own.

David grew up mostly on the East Coast, in Pennsylvania, before heading to New York City to discover and learn his craft as an editor and cinematographer. Now based in Southern California, David brings over 20 years of experience shaping stories in the edit bay, from weddings and events to deeply personal documentaries, finding the story in the raw material, building rhythm and pace, and uncovering the emotion that lives between the frames.

His approach is built on the belief that great filmmaking is never about the gear…it’s about what happens in post. David is fluent in pacing, sound design, and structure, turning raw footage and photos into something that flows and feels alive.

David has always loved looking back through old photos and videos, the way they hold a moment you’d otherwise forget. That love is what led him to found this montage service: a belief that every family’s story deserves to be told with care. Whether it’s honoring a loved one’s memory or celebrating a family’s milestones, David brings the same craft and heart to every montage, creating something you and your family will treasure and return to for years to come.

Hi, I’m Rebecca. I’ve been an admin assistant at various veterinary clinics in Los Angeles for years, which suits me fine since I’m a lifelong animal person. At home I’m a mom of two young boys, so birthdays and big moments come around a lot in our house, and helping other families celebrate theirs is my favorite thing. That’s why I recently joined my husband, Eric, at Shoebox Pictures, where I keep each project organized and moving from the first box of photos to the finished film, because every one of them means a lot to somebody and us. I’m easy to talk to, and if you’ve got a big idea for your event, I’m all in on chasing it as far as it’ll go.
